FACILITIES AND VENUES

General

Accessible at ground level, a sloped ramp outside the front entrance makes
the building wheelchair friendly. Automated doors via a press button
also facilitate easy entrance.

Seating up to 100 guests, our lounge has a dividing wall between it and our
games room, which enables both sides access to the bar at the front,
and to the washrooms at the back.

Our liquor license is in effect throughout our building, including the covered
patio outside the games room. The patio features a gas barbeque,
used for some Legion events.

The lounge, as well as the entire building, offers access to Wi-Fi.

How To Book Banquet Hall or Meeting Room

Booking a venue or obtaining more information must be done through the Legion
Office during regular business hours.

Banquet Hall / Lounge

This semi-private area acts as a banquet hall and may be booked for individual or company parties, retirement functions, or luncheons. Bands and DJs can arrange their equipment just off the dance floor, by the west wall.

Private groups wanting to avail themselves of our sound system may bring CDs,
which the bartender will monitor on the equipment behind the bar.
The sound can be directed to both/either/or the lounge/games room.
Additionally, a portable microphone is available, as is a portable screen.

The in-house caterer ‘Diner 271 & Catering’ serves all food requirements, and can
prepare plated buffet dinner, lunch, or breakfast you hope to have for your group,
provided ample notice is given. If you want to play a game of darts while you wait,or you want to incorporate a few sets of darts into your get-together,
ten boards are mounted on the walls. Of course, children are welcome to enjoy
family parties; our only prerequisite is that the accompanying parents or
guardians assume responsibility for acceptable behaviour.

Games Room

Usually used by Branch members & guests, visitors will feel at home here.
This room features a full-sized snooker table with usage fixed at $2.00 on
an honour system. Additionally, there are also dart boards on this side
of the dividing wall between the two rooms.

Board Room

The Board Room, or Meeting Room, can be booked for private meetings.
It seats 16-20 at the table, more if some of the tables are removed from the room.
Meetings can be held with food service available from the caterer
and refreshments from the bar.
